1. Pour 25 mL of the solution into a beaker using a graduated cylinder, then pour a small amout into a test tube labeled "Ca2+ ion".
2. Put a wooden splint into the test tube and set it aside.
3. Pour 25 mL of lithium carbonate solution into the second beaker, and pour a small amount into another test tube labeled "Li+ ion".
4. Put a wooden splint into the second test tube and set it aside.
5. Pour the contents of the beaker containing lithium carbonate into the beaker containing calcium chloride.
6. Pour the contents of the beaker into the filter paper.
7. After filtering, pour the remaining liquid substance into a beaker labeled "Unkwon ion".
8. Put a wooden splint into the "unknown ion" test tube and set it aside.
9. Set up a bison burner to between a safety flame and a roaring flame.
10. Take the wooden splint from the test tube labeled "Ca2+" and hold it over the bunson burner. Take note of the flame colour.
11. Take the wooden splint from the test tube labeled "Li+" and hold it over the bunson burner. Take note of the flame colour.
12. Using the crucible tongs, scoop some white stuff left in the filter and hold it over the buson burner. Observe the colour and dicide wether it's Ca2+ or Li+.
13. Take the wooden splint from the test tube labeled "Unknown ion" and hold it over the bunson burner. Observe the colour and dicide wether it's Ca2+ or Li+.

(K) town
One day, in the peaceful land of (K) town, everyone was happy and healthy, breathing in clean (O) and having fun. However, things were about to change. Meanwhile, in the (C) filled plains of (Cf), things were bad. There was no more (O) in (Cf), people were suffering from lack of (O), it was truly a sad time. The leaders of (Cf) came together and sat down, they discussed what to do about the (C) crisis. The leaders of (Cf) decided that they should wipe out the population of (K) town, and take their (O). At the same time, the leaders of (K) town had a discussion about what to do with all of the extra (K). The leaders found a man with a 18 wheel truck who was on his way back to (Cf) and asked him if he wanted some (K). The man accepted and took the (K) back to (Cf) where he would sell it. Meanwhile, the leaders of (Cf) decided that since (K) town had a lot of (K), they should take a fire plane, fill it with water, and release the water over (K) town. The leaders of (Cf) town put their plan into action and sent the planes to fly over (K) town. Meanwhile, the man who returned to (Cf), thought that he should sell the (K) to a flower store, the store owners accepted the powdered (K) thinking it was the latest fertilizer and sold it across (Cf). Meanwhile, the fire planes flow over (K) town and released their water, soaking the whole neighborhood, but since the (K) was gone, everything was simply wet. the leaders of (K) town though it was a tradition of (Cf) and decided to return the favor. The fire planes from (K) town flew over (Cf) town and released their water. All of (Cf) was covered in water, and soon exploded like a (H) bomb. The people of (K) town thought is was some kind of tragic (U) accident, and that's why you've never heard of (Cf) before.

Paper clip Bending and Melting
My hypothesis was that the metal would turn bright red, and when cooled in cold water would explode (just kidding, i thought it would bubble a bit and hiss). I could not predict what the result of bending the paper clips would be. Here is the data:
Regular paper clip: 7 bends
Heated and slowly cooled: 20 bends
Headed and then thrown in cold water: 6 bends
Interesting... Very interesting... Well I couldn't figure it out. The regular paper clip was... well regular, the heated and slowly cooled was super hard and refused to bend, and the water cooled paperclip was very soft and fragile. In the end I had less of an idea of what was going on than the beginning. I personally blame the paper clip.
